Friday, Walter joined me for my office Christmas lunch at Chatters. After lunch, we picked up Caroline, and headed to Walter's grandparents to get Max, and then headed to Tulsa to see Walter's parents. We had to stop at Target to get stocking presents and get a new gift for Max, since one we already had gotten was also given to Max at the Tersinar Christmas. I have never seen a store so ravaged! It was insane! Shelves were completely bare. After making it to the house, Walter and his dad went back out, and after five Wal-Marts, three Targets, two Toys-R-Us's, and a KMart, they finally settled on something else. Who would have thought a dang Buzz Lightyear would be so popular?
We stayed up Friday night visiting and decorating "ugly Christmas sweaters" for Christmas Eve. Grandpa John and Grandma Mary came over to see the kids, which was nice. We don't get to see them much anymore. Both kids stayed up too late, but Caroline, bless her heart, slept until 6:30! She's totally my favorite. Nights with Max, especially somewhere other than home, were always torture.
Christmas Eve day was pretty laid back, which is always nice. Aunt Audra let Max help make sugar cookies, which he was just thrilled about. He loved it! The kids got to open presents, and, once again, they were spoiled rotten.
We spent Christmas Eve at Grandpa and Grandma Busch's house. I have actually never been to the Busch party on Christmas Eve all of the time we have been together. So it was fun to go this year. It's always a good time, and the kids are so loved. Max loves playing with the "big kids" and it's too bad Emmitt wasn't there, because they are definitely buddies. Caroline was passed around and I think she loved it. My pretty girl. Our ugly sweaters were a hit - I think it's going to become a tradition. Although, it wasn't quite as funny when I had to take Max into the bathroom at the gas station. The sweaters are not for public! ;P

great pictures.
